About Evgenia Batrushtay - Nia.Shtai
Ukrainian artist with a powerful and emotional story to tell. Born Levgeniia Batrushtai in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 1990, Nia's artistic journey began during a time of crisis as a student in boarding school. With power outages a common occurrence, Nia's teacher asked her to entertain the class by telling stories. This early experience sparked a lifelong love of art, one that has continued to guide Nia through the trials of life, including the current conflict in Ukraine.
