Psoman

Psoman, born in 1981 in Brussels, Belgium, is a muralist, painter, and illustrator celebrated for his bold, thought-provoking creations. Now based in Liège, he has carved a niche in the art world with his distinctive cell-shading style—a striking blend of deconstructed forms and intricate details. His work often depicts fantastical animals carrying sprawling cities on their backs, a powerful metaphor for the burden of urbanization on the natural world.

With a background in graphic design, Psoman graduated in 2001 and quickly began making his mark on the international art scene. His murals, which have graced walls across Europe and Asia, are inspired by his extensive travels and a deep curiosity about the interplay between humans and the environment. Each piece serves as a visual narrative, tackling critical issues like climate change, urban sprawl, and the delicate balance between nature and human progress.

Psoman’s work stands out for its ability to immerse viewers in a surreal yet familiar world, inviting them to explore themes of resilience, coexistence, and transformation. Whether through a mural stretching across a city block or a finely detailed illustration, his art sparks conversation and reflection, leaving an indelible impression on those who encounter it.
