About Dawal
Dawal is a French street artist who began his creative journey in the wastelands of Lille. He developed a distinctive style rich in detail, symbols, and often infused with humor and irony. Dawal's graphic universe is characterized by vibrant colors and a surrealist foundation, heavily influenced by his childhood memories and the urban environments he painted in. His technique was honed during nighttime sessions in Athens, where he embraced the spontaneity and energy of the streets.
Now based in Paris, Dawal continues to push the boundaries of his art, working with acrylics on canvas and spray paint on walls. His work often explores themes of mental escapism, presented through narrative compositions that invite viewers into a world of imagination and reflection. Dawal's art remains a vivid and dynamic contribution to the contemporary street art scene.
