Emelio Cerezo

Emilio Cerezo is a Spanish multidisciplinary artist born in 1986 in Totana, Murcia, and based in Barcelona. His work spans painting, murals, and tattooing, with a focus on stains and color in his paintings, creating blurred, fragmented appearances. His murals are meaningful, and his tattoos use black ink for clean, lasting designs.

Cerezo grew up influenced by 90s anime, manga, and video games like Final Fantasy VII and Silent Hill, alongside his grandmother's watercolor paintings and his uncle's anime drawings. He was involved in the graffiti scene as a teenager, later using his real name for his art.

He studied fine arts at the University of Granada and completed a postgraduate degree in drawing, during which his style evolved to focus more on meaning and seriousness.
